Inviting the light of reason to guide our way.

Fresh Fruit

A time for sowing, a time for reaping,
All in between, the time for eating
Fresh fruit, warmed in the heat
Best when mouth and flesh meet

Teeth and tongue
Parting the skin
Taste the joy
Juice on the chin

Seeking the seed
Plucked from within
Waiting till ripe
Before you begin

Earth, flesh, water, and sky
Desire’s been met,
Seed has been planted.
Invigorated. Pollinated.
